New HR software from ABS - Visual Staff Scheduler Pro 4.0 & Staff Files 2.0

FARGO, ND - April 5, 1999 - Atlas Business Solutions, Inc. (ABS) announces the release of Visual Staff Scheduler® Pro 4.0 (VSS Pro 4.0) and Staff Files® 2.0. Each product includes a 16-bit version for Windows 3.x and a 32-bit version for Windows 95/98/NT.

VSS Pro 4.0 is the most powerful and flexible employee scheduling software available. This easy-to-use, flexible system creates professional-looking schedules, increases scheduling accuracy, saves time and helps avoid scheduling conflicts. Users can rotate schedules easily and make last minute changes quickly. Its perpetual worksheet allows users to pre-schedule shifts, time-off and vacation requests. Information can be scheduled weeks, months or even years in advance. VSS PRO's interface is intuitive and easy to use. ABS offers the single-user version of VSS Pro 4.0 for $249 and the 20-user version for $695.

There are 17 new features in version 4.0. New version 4.0 offers five customizable formats, which enable users to view and edit schedules the way they want to. The system can be configured to display up to 42 days of information. Even the contents of date cells can be specified (e.g., shift start/end times, notes, shift descriptions, shift lengths, on-call status, to name a few). Up to 20 staff coverage totals automatically track the number of people scheduled by position, shift, location, etc. Other enhancements include the ability to produce schedules/reports in .html for World Wide Web or intranet use, enter staffing requirements, track information hourly, powerful new group reporting, and export schedule information.
